How does MADA launch, manage and scale a TikTok Shop?

Straight answers about how MADA launches, manages and scales TikTok Shops — what we run, what stays with you, what it costs to operate, and how long it realistically takes.

Last updated: September 2026

Quick answer: MADA runs a client's TikTok Shop end to end: setup and verification, listings, account health, the affiliate and creator program, TikTok Shop Ads, and reporting. The client keeps inventory and fulfillment. Engagements start at three months, ad spend is billed separately, and no agency can responsibly guarantee GMV.

Working with MADA

MADA manages your TikTok Shop end to end: shop setup, listings, account health, promotions, customer messages, affiliate operations, creator strategy, TikTok Shop Ads, and performance reporting.

You remain responsible for inventory and order fulfillment. The split is simple: you manage the product and logistics, we manage the TikTok Shop growth system.

Yes. MADA is an official TikTok Shop Partner in the US.

That lets us connect to your shop through TikTok's Partner Center and work inside TikTok's official partner tools and escalation processes. You can verify it yourself from your own account: in Seller Center, go to Agencies & Partners and search for MADA.

Both.

We launch new shops from zero and help existing sellers improve or scale what they already run. The strategy depends on your stage: a new shop needs trust, reviews and creator content, while an established shop more often needs stronger affiliate operations, better conversion, or more efficient advertising.

The strongest fit is a brand with:

  • A differentiated product and clear selling points
  • Inventory available in the US
  • Reliable order fulfillment
  • Enough margin for affiliate commissions and marketing
  • Budget for samples and advertising
  • A willingness to test consistently for at least 90 days

We are not the right partner for brands looking for immediate sales without investment, or growth without available inventory.

Our strongest experience is in:

  • Beauty and skincare
  • Health and wellness
  • Supplements
  • Food and beverage
  • Apparel
  • Home and consumer products

We evaluate every product individually on demand, pricing, margin, compliance requirements, and its potential for creator-led content.

Yes, provided the business is eligible to operate a US TikTok Shop and has the required company documentation, business representative, inventory, and US fulfillment solution.

We review the structure before onboarding, because TikTok makes the final decision on shop eligibility and verification.

Shop setup and operations

Yes. We can help with registration, business verification, account connection, product listings, shipping settings, affiliate program setup, and launch preparation.

All information must match your official company and identity documents. TikTok makes the final approval decision, so no one can guarantee approval.

As an Official Partner we have our own registration channel. A shop opened through our partner registration link is attached to MADA in TikTok's Partner Center from the moment it is created, rather than being connected to an agency afterwards. It does not change the eligibility rules, and it does not commit you to working with us.

You are responsible for:

  • Providing compliant inventory
  • Fulfilling orders on time
  • Processing physical returns when required
  • Supplying accurate product information and documentation
  • Approving budgets, promotions, and major strategic decisions

MADA handles the day-to-day TikTok Shop operation around those responsibilities.

Yes. We monitor customer messages, order-related notifications, shop health, policy violations, campaigns, promotions, and operational changes inside Seller Center.

When a physical action is required — shipping an order, or inspecting a returned product — we coordinate with your team or fulfillment partner.

We can help configure and monitor integrations between TikTok Shop and your existing commerce or fulfillment systems.

Your inventory data, SKU mapping, shipping settings and fulfillment times have to stay accurate. The client or fulfillment provider remains responsible for the physical handling and delivery of orders.

There is no universal minimum. You need enough inventory to support creator sampling while still fulfilling customer orders if sales begin growing quickly.

We usually start with a controlled number of samples and increase volume based on creator approval rates, content output, conversion, and available inventory.

Yes. We can build a TikTok-specific pricing and product strategy around your existing Amazon business.

Depending on the brand, that may involve price alignment, exclusive bundles, different product variations, or TikTok-specific offers. We review the complete channel strategy before applying promotions that could affect another marketplace.

Yes. We can help develop the LIVE strategy, offers, scripts, product selection and performance process.

Hosting, studio production and the number of LIVE hours required depend on your internal capabilities and may need to be scoped separately.

Affiliates and creator content

We build and manage both Open Collaborations and Target Collaborations inside TikTok Shop.

Our team identifies relevant creators, reviews their performance, sends invitations, manages sample requests, provides content guidance, follows up after delivery, tracks posted videos, and develops longer-term relationships with the creators who generate results.

In most categories, yes.

Samples let creators experience the product and produce authentic demonstrations, reviews and selling content. Without sampling, a new brand will usually struggle to attract enough qualified creators.

Many new shops begin with a minimum of 50 samples and increase the volume as the shop gains traction. Over the first 90 days, some brands send 100–200 or more.

The final number depends on product cost, inventory, category competition, creator approval rates, and the results generated by earlier sample batches.

No. Sending a sample does not guarantee that a creator will publish content or generate sales.

We reduce that risk by reviewing creators before approval, tracking delivery and posting history, providing clear briefs, and following up consistently. We optimize for the total volume and quality of content, not a promise from every individual creator.

We review factors such as:

  • Category and audience relevance
  • Recent content quality
  • Engagement and posting consistency
  • Previous TikTok Shop sales
  • Average views and performance trends
  • Reliability with previous samples
  • Fit with the brand's positioning

Follower count alone is not enough to determine whether a creator can sell a product.

Most affiliate relationships begin on a commission-only basis. The creator earns a percentage of each sale attributed to their content or LIVE stream.

Some established creators also request a fixed fee. Any paid creator agreement is discussed with and approved by the brand before we proceed.

The right commission depends on your category, product price, margin, competition, and the type of creator you want to attract.

A higher commission can help a new shop compete for creator attention, but the rate still has to support profitable growth. We analyze the market and recommend a structure before launching outreach.

Our standard service focuses on creator-generated content rather than producing every video internally.

We develop the hooks, selling points, scripts, briefs and content angles for affiliates. Brand-owned studio production, organic social media management, or additional UGC production can be discussed separately.

The brand owns its TikTok Shop account, its customer data, and the creator relationships developed during the engagement.

Creator content usage rights depend on the authorization granted by each creator. Permission to use content in TikTok Shop Ads does not automatically extend to Meta Ads, Amazon, your website, or other platforms. Broader usage rights may need to be negotiated separately.

Advertising, budget and results

We normally begin after the shop has a solid foundation and enough creator content to test.

Rather than spending heavily on unproven creative, we identify videos already generating engagement, clicks or sales, and put paid budget behind the strongest assets. For many new shops that begins during the second month.

No. Advertising budget is separate from the agency fee and is paid through the client's TikTok Shop advertising account.

The starting budget depends on your economics and available content. New shops may begin around $30 per day and increase spending only when performance supports it.

Your complete TikTok Shop budget may include:

  • Product samples and shipping
  • Affiliate commissions on generated sales
  • TikTok Shop ad spend
  • Platform fees, discounts and promotions

We review the full cost structure before launch so you understand the investment required.

$2,500 a month to run your TikTok Shop while it is below $25,000 in monthly GMV. Above that, commission replaces the retainer and the rate falls as the shop grows: 10%, falling to 7% above $100,000 and 5% above $200,000. There is no separate setup fee.

One exception to the retainer stopping: if a problem on your side — a stock-out, a fulfillment failure, a significant ad-budget cut — stops the work producing sales, the $2,500 monthly minimum resumes until it is resolved.

Ad spend, creator commission, samples and TikTok's platform fees are separate and paid by you. Full pricing is here, and the contract is published in full.

The first 30 days are usually focused on setup, trust, listings, reviews, creator outreach and initial samples.

During months two and three, creator content begins arriving, the first advertising tests can start, and we identify which products and angles convert. We recommend evaluating a new TikTok Shop strategy over at least 90 days. Significant scaling may take three to six months.

No. TikTok Shop is a content-driven marketplace, and no agency can responsibly guarantee a specific number of views, videos, sales or GMV before testing the product.

We commit to the execution: research, creator outreach, operational management, content strategy, advertising, reporting and ongoing optimization. Results depend on the product, offer, margin, inventory, category, creator content and market response.

Three months, renewing automatically in three-month periods unless either side gives 30 business days' written notice.

Three months gives the strategy enough time to generate creator content, collect performance data, test advertising and make informed optimization decisions. A shorter engagement measures logistics rather than performance. The full terms, and the sample agreement, are published.

You get direct communication with the team managing your shop, usually through a shared WhatsApp group.

We report regularly on GMV, creator outreach, samples, content output, affiliate performance, advertising and shop health — including what worked, what did not, and what we are changing next.

You do.

Your TikTok Shop, revenue, data, listings and creator relationships remain yours. MADA operates the account on your behalf and returns or removes access according to the agreed offboarding process.
